For Athletes Training & analysis

Reading your sport analytics page

Power curves, pace curves, best efforts, and trends.

What this page is

/athlete/<id>/analytics/<sport>/ is the sport specific analysis view. There is one for swim, one for bike, one for run. Each synthesises every activity in that sport into a trend view.

Sections on the page

Power curve (bike) or pace curve (run, swim)

A line plot of your best effort at each duration from 1 second to the longest activity in the window. The curve tells you whether you are a "sprinter" (steep curve), an "endurance athlete" (flat curve), or "fatigue-resistant" (a curve that holds well at long durations).

The Hub overlays your current window against a prior window so you can see what shifted.

Best efforts ladder

A table of your top efforts at each duration. Click any row to jump to the activity that produced it.

Threshold trend

The history of your threshold (FTP / CSS / run threshold) over time, with markers at each assessment.

Volume and intensity

Weekly volume and intensity distribution for the sport. Bars broken down by zone. Lets you see whether your training has been "polarised" (lots of easy, lots of hard, little middle) or "pyramidal" (lots of easy, declining time as intensity rises).

Swim distance per stroke (swim only)

DPS trend if your swim file or assessments include it. A swim technique signal independent of speed.

Filters

Free vs premium

Free athletes see the page with a 30 day window. Premium athletes get all windows, environmental adjustments (e.g. wind-corrected power), and best efforts compared to demographic peers.
