Why an uploaded workout might not show up, and how to fix each cause.
The most common cause. Some files have a device clock that is off:
How to find: widen the activity date filter to a year or "all time" and look for the activity in unexpected locations.
Fix: open the activity detail page and update the date field manually.
If you are a coach uploading on behalf of an athlete and the form had a different athlete selected, the activity went to that other athlete instead of yours.
How to find: check your full roster's recent uploads.
Fix: delete the activity from the wrong athlete and re-upload on the correct one. (Cross-athlete move is not supported via UI today.)
Some devices (older Wahoo head units especially) split a long ride into two FIT files if the ride exceeded a memory threshold. You may have uploaded only one of the two.
How to find: check your device export folder for a second file from the same date.
Fix: upload the second file.
The FIT parser sometimes rejects files that are corrupt or use an unsupported FIT extension.
How to find: look at the upload page result. Failed files are reported with a reason.
Fix: re-export from the source platform or device. If exporting from Garmin Connect, choose "Export to Original FIT" rather than to TCX.
If you uploaded a ZIP (TrainingPeaks export), the parser processes files one by one. A large ZIP can take several minutes.
How to find: refresh the upload page; the progress will update.
Fix: wait. Subsequent activity rows appear as each file is processed.
garmin_power_ignored flag is set for this activity
(someone explicitly told the Hub to ignore power).Fix: see Power source on an activity.
tss_override has a value that does not match the
auto-computed Load.Fix: see Load and override.
mmp_curve on the activity: the parser did not
produce one (likely no power data or sport not bike /
run).Fix: confirm the file actually has power data; if it does but the parser missed it, re-upload from the original source.
