EO SwimBETTER Deep Dive (swim assessment, .docx upload)

Upload an EO SwimBETTER auto-report; the parser creates the Assessment, MetricHistory entries, and flags technical errors.

What this assessment is

The EO SwimBETTER Deep Dive is a swim assessment built around the .docx auto-report produced by an EO SwimBETTER pod session. The Hub's parser reads the report, creates an Assessment record, writes the metric values to MetricHistory, and flags technical errors against EO's internal targets.

Domain: swim. Linked calculator: none (parser populates the outputs directly).

How to log

  1. Run the EO SwimBETTER session in the pool with the pod and sensors.
  2. Download the .docx auto-report from EO.
  3. In the Hub, open the athlete's profile and click EO swim upload, or navigate to /athlete/<public_id>/eo-swim-upload/.
  4. Pick the test distance category (e.g. 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, other) so the parser knows how to interpret the metrics.
  5. Drop the .docx file.
  6. Confirm the parsed values look right and save.

When to use this

EO SwimBETTER produces dense data per session. Use it for technique development blocks and as a periodic check (monthly to quarterly). It is not a substitute for a CSS test (which sets pace zones); the two assessments measure different things.
