Workout templates + training plans
Reusable workout shapes and multi-week sequences.
Templates vs plans
- A Workout Template is a single reusable workout shape (title,
description, structured intervals, planned Load / IR / distance).
- A Training Plan is an ordered sequence of templates keyed by
(week_offset, day_of_week). One plan covers N weeks.
Building a template
/coach/workout-templates/new/ — fill in name, sport, description, and
the Workout structure block. Use the visual interval builder to add
Warmup / Steady / Ramp / Intervals / Free ride / Cooldown blocks. Each
block has a "Z?" picker to snap power to a Yousuli 8-band zone (Z1 to Z7).
Applying a template
- Drag the card from the calendar library rail onto any day cell.
- Drop on a row in your selection → applies to every selected athlete.
- Right-click a workout pill → Save as template to extract.
Building a plan
/coach/workout-plans/new/ — set name, weeks count, sport focus.
Save, then click each grid cell to pick a template. Multiple templates
per day are allowed.
Applying a plan
- In the calendar library rail, switch to the Plans tab.
- Drag the plan card onto a Monday cell.
- Confirm — the plan expands into ScheduledWorkout rows starting that
Monday for that athlete. If athletes are multi-selected, the plan
applies to each.
