Notification preferences
Choosing which Hub events email you, ping you in-app, or stay quiet.
Where to set them
/settings/notifications/. Linked from Settings > Notifications.
The model
Notifications have a type (e.g. "race coming up", "macrocycle
deployed", "concerning wellness log"). For each type you choose:
- In-app on / off: whether the Hub bell shows the alert.
- Email frequency: off, instant, daily digest, weekly digest.
Common types
For athletes
- Race countdown: at T minus 14, 7, 3, 1 days.
- Race plan ready: when your coach generates a brief.
- New coach note (concerning): when a flagged note is written.
- Plan deploy: when your coach deploys a new macrocycle.
- Wellness reminder: if you have not logged in 3 days.
For coaches
- Concerning wellness: an athlete's wellness pattern triggers
review.
- Metric submission pending review: an athlete submitted a
new threshold for you to approve.
- Athlete uploaded an assessment-flagged activity.
- A or B race coming up for an athlete: at T minus 21, 7 days.
- Athlete added a race themselves: the new race wants your
review.
For assistant coaches

Recommended defaults
- Athletes: all race-related notifications on, instant. Plan
deploy on, daily digest. Wellness reminder on.
- Coaches: concerning wellness instant. Metric review instant.
Race countdowns daily digest.
Turning off email entirely
You can disable all email by switching every type's email
frequency to off. In-app notifications remain.
Email unsubscribe links
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that takes you
to the preferences page pre-scoped to that type.
