Each viewer picks their own display units; the athlete sets timezone.
/settings/timezone/ (linked from /settings/). One page covers both
the unit-system pref and the timezone.
Each user picks their own preference (metric or imperial). The choice applies to everything they view, including other athletes' workouts. A metric coach reviewing an imperial athlete's bike workout still sees km — and vice versa.
Optionally check Show both units side-by-side to see "40 km · 24.85 mi" everywhere. Useful when you coach athletes across both systems and want to skip the mental conversion.
Only meaningful for athlete accounts (drives the "today" highlight on their calendar and the PMC's "today" point). Coaches without a linked athlete record skip this field.
Distance is stored in metres, speed in m/s, weight in kg. Threshold values and training-load calculations stay in SI either way — the preference is presentation-layer only.
