First week checklist: coach and athlete

A short setup list for your first few sessions on the Hub.

Coaches: a one week setup

  1. Sign in and tour the coach dashboard. Open /dashboard/ and click each action button so you know where things live. See Coach dashboard tour.
  2. Create your first team. Even a solo coach should have one team (for athlete grouping). Open My Teams > New team.
  3. Decide how to onboard athletes. Pick one of the three ways to add athletes. Group coaches usually start with a join link.
  4. Set up at least one athlete profile end-to-end. Add a race for them. Run the race planning wizard. This is the fastest way to see how the system flows.
  5. Invite an assistant coach (optional). See Inviting an assistant coach.
  6. Sanity check your billing tier. Visit Settings > Billing to confirm the plan and any rebates.
  7. Bookmark the help center. Add /help/ to your toolbar.

Athletes: a one week setup

  1. Sign in and tour your dashboard. See Athlete dashboard tour.
  2. Fill in basic anthropometrics. Settings > Profile, or wait for the intake link your coach may have sent.
  3. Add your equipment. Visit /my-equipment/. Even rough entries help your coach plan races properly.
  4. Confirm your races. Visit /my-races/. Tell your coach if any are missing or wrong.
  5. Start logging wellness. Even three days a week is enough to produce a useful fatigue trend. See Logging daily wellness.
  6. Upload a recent workout. Confirms your file format works and gives your coach a baseline. See Uploading a workout.
  7. If you are premium, run one calculator. Pick the pacing calculator for your next race and review the output.
